Welcome to "The Chanukah Game"!
Sorry! The game is no longer available.
A Freilechen Chanukah to all!
Although we cannot celebrate Chanukah together as we did last year, we still wanted to do something to enhance each of your Yom Tov celebrations. We hope you enjoy the donuts we sent each of you. In addition, we are gifting each one of you "The Chanukah Game" created by EscapeYourOwnRoom (as featured in Mishpacha magazine and BetweenCarpools.com) to play with your families. Please note, this game will be too challenging for young children to play without the help of parents.
The game begins at 7 pm. While you do not have to start at 7 pm, we want everyone to have the opportunity to start at the same time so as not to give anyone an unfair advantage. The game will be active the entire Chanukah. You will need a pair of scissors and the clues that were delivered to you today ready when you start the game. (If you don't have the envelope with clues, you can print them yourself from the file "Print and Display" once you have accessed the game.)
To add to the excitement (and because we know a number of you have a competitive streak!), we are giving away prizes to the families who finish the game first WITHOUT clicking on the answers. (We are relying on the honor system!)
1st prize - $100 gift certificate to Accents for dinner for the family
2nd prize - $50 gift certificate to Shabsi's
3rd prize - candy platter from The Candy Store
Once you are finished the game, please email a screenshot of the last screen to kehillasmeorhatorah@gmail.com.
Please do not share the link with people outside of the shul as the shul paid for this activity and the owner asked us to relay that message.
Click to begin, but not before 7 pm on Thursday, Dec. 10!
Good luck!

Last Year's Siyum HaShas and Chanukah Mesiba
It's hard to believe it's been a year since our Community Siyum HaShas and Chanukah Mesiba on the first night of Chanukah 5780. How much has changed in this one year? We had hoped to have had a Chanukah Mesiba this year, but unfortunately, due to the current situation that is not possible. Until we can join together again in person, enjoy these pictures and videos which will certainly provide you with warm memories of that special evening and will hold you over until we can be together again!
Divrei Bracha for the Siyum
We were zoche to have Rav Aaron Lopiansky, Rav Asher Weiss, and Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky, they should live and be well, address us on this momentous occasion. Their words can be heard below.
